ABOUT

US

In 2001 I immigrated with my husband and two children to NZ. We loved the Warkworth area and have lived here now for many years. My children are now grown up and my husband and I are now the proud “Opa and Oma” of three gorgeous grand-daughters.

My passion of anything related to pregnancy and early child years, started at a young age and have lead me to train in different areas of maternity care. I have been working at the Warkworth Birthing Centre for many years as a maternity assistant. This has given me a good insight of the needs parents have in the postnatal time. My passion to support parents further in the  pre-natal to postnatal time has led to me to qualify as a Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Early parenting Educator. I am currently facilitating Antenatal classes at the Birthing Centre.

I also wanted to create a supportive space for parents in the postnatal time and that led me to start facilitating infant massage courses. I  am a certified International Association of Infant Massage Instructor(IAIM) and I love sharing Infant Massage skills with parents. While facilitating the  massage sessions many topics related to parenting and the postnatal time are discussed amongst the group and I love seeing the wisdom of parents being shared amongst each other.  The postnatal time or fourth trimester can be a time in which parents like to connect with other parents in the community. Attending my Infant Massage course is a  perfect way to meet other local parents while spending quality time with your little one.
